INTRODUCTION

As we look into our world, we will realize that the prevailing human problems are enormous; these pose serious threats to humanity and our globe. The solution lies in the divine mandate of salvation and the most vital way for this divine message of salvation to penetrate our world is through social reforms.  Reforms in the policies of the world influence the events of our world because the reformation of our world governing policies in the divine light ushers in the hope to our world.

Intervene in Africa is the bringing in of Divine counsel into the government of our world. The areas of problems are areas calling for serious attention and these areas are enormous in Africa. As I look through African continent, I see poverty, hunger, war, disease, epidemic, violence, Injustice, greed, oppression, corruption, terrorism, ethnic rivalry, tyranny and abuse of all sorts that poses serious threats to the black race, our continent, and the whole world.

It is great darkness in Africa, and catastrophe awaits us if these social vices are left unchecked. This calls for an awakening in reforms movement, although there are already existing reforms movements, NGOs, FBOs, churches, Muslim reform movements,s, and other reform institutions. We thank God for their noble peace work, but the work undone is still enormous as new problems are setting in because of complexities caused by the organized network of deception of crime and violence in our world today.

That is why this fight is the fight of all to wake up and address putting aside our differences in race, religion, or culture because the deceptive wave of crime and violence plaguing our world today is not a fight of religion or race, but a fight of dominance, deception imposing its dominance on earth.

VISION

Empowering minds for African Transformation

MISSION

To instigate positive change and transformation in Africa, restore African identity, and empower minds to actualize their dreams.

WHO WE ARE

INTERVENE IN AFRICA- IIA is a reformation movement with the aim to bring about positive change and transformation in Africa. We are a nonreligious, nonpolitical, and non-profit organization, but Africans from various regions, cultures, and social backgrounds with a divine mandate to liberate the African continents form the present decadence. We do this with the tool of love and peace, radiating the divine light of the cosmic to the whole human race regardless of what we represent.

We do this with the tools of love and peace radiating the light of God to the whole human race irrespective of what we represent.

THE MANDATE

As I interact with people around the world, I found out that the greatest challenge confronting the movement of change and humanity as a whole is separation. Apart from language barriers, I see various walls and barriers in the heart of men which hinders man from positive change and advancement. We see doctrinal walls, ethnic walls, cultural walls as these prevailing limitations are the greatest problems hindering humanity from embracing change. The wars and conflicts we witness in our world are resultant effects of these separations.

Intervene in Africa is not a religious movement, neither is it a political group nor a profit-making organization, but it is a divine movement to liberate the African race from the limitations that prevail in our environment. Intervene in Africa is birth in the wings of truth and righteousness to crusade against the Government of deceits in our land with the weapon of love and peace, radiating Divine light to the whole human race regardless of the differences in what we represent, it is in directing our various beliefs and faith to influence positive change and transformation in ours cooperate existence. We do this in line with the divine directory to go into the entire world and preach the GOOD NEWS to all creation. Apart from the collective salvation of the human soul, the good news of the Gospel of salvation places great emphasis on social reforms, social reform campaigns in socio-political and socio-economic sectors.

This light is the divine laws that usher in civilizations to nations and our world in different times of human evolution.

In the midst of the limitations of man's separations caused by social differences, the evolution of man has brought about diverse changes as witnessed in social reforms in different phases, in arts, culture, politics, religion, economic and technological movements.

From the creation of mankind, the black race goes through various stages of human evolution in consciousness reflecting a general struggle for self-realization and dominance. Today we see these traces of evolution in our present arts, culture, tradition, religion, and social life. Our social lifestyle is shaped by our history irrespective of what we are or where in the world we may find ourselves as Africans, we still find traces of our heritage in our lifestyle.

The emergence of world power, man and nations conquering territories, exploits to space, inventions, political and economic dominance, speaks of a consistent evolving of human’s consciousness as a result of a continual shift in man's perception of himself. The holy book records that God made mankind in his image and likeness to dominate and subdue the earth. This is demonstrated in humans’ conquest of territories with great minds. In this dominance of great nations, Africa being the cradle of human civilization still takes backstage in the world development arena amid great wealth in natural resources, talents, and opportunities that abound in Africa.  Many African nations are still dependent on aids and grants from developed countries, while the majority of African countries are still tagged ‘underdeveloped’ after several years of independent rule.

In order for the African nations to take up her significant position in the world governing scene: political, economic, technological and socially, we as blacks must define and reform our perceptions. It’s an absolute truth that the black race needs an awakening, the awakening of the black consciousness which will instigate positive change in all strata, for change, remains the craving of all time.

This yearning for the African awakening is the births of a movement “INTERVENE IN AFRICA.”  The movement of Africa by the black race calling for divine intervention in Africa Let the kingdom comein the policies that affect the African perspective. As the black race begins to perceive things in the light of God’s word, the divine light will illuminate the African culture and take precedence in politics, economics, technological and social spectrum.

In the light of the divers’ problems facing the African race, Intervene in Africa is a reformation movement with a change mantra to influence positive transformation in the perception of Africans; a divine awakening in thoughts and lifestyle. Our mission is a positive change campaign across all sectors touching the African roots.

IIA Quote:

The transformation of the African continent lies in the restoration of black identity.

 VISION

 Empowering minds for African transformation

 MISSION

To instigate positive change and transformation in Africa, to restore African identity, and empower minds to actualize their dreams.

The primary the way we can achieve our set goals for us, to individually and collectively reform our wrong values and restore our identities as Africans in celebrating what we have as social values; our uniqueness which singles us out as a race. We must learn to dream for in our dreams lies the birthing of great possibilities, not just dreaming for today but dreams that transcends generational and cultural boundaries.

The earnest quest of our creation is the salvation of our destroyed world, and we can only salvage our world through love which brings about lasting peace. This entails that we lay aside our differences and engage in that which promotes growth in both spiritual and material plains.

No matter what name we may call ourselves, the greatest message is the message of love.

The genuine trait of a true leader is characterized by Love which is exemplified in character. Character is integrity, peace, joy, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control, service to one another and service to the nation.  Any leadership inform of movement, institution, or organization that does not inherently by words or deeds represent these virtues, does not have its foundation in love, and let such be looked upon as false or antigovernment of peace.

MOTTO

Reformation. empowerment. productivity

SLOGAN

Liberate the mind, liberate the world.

OBJECTIVES

1.   Reformation of African system.

2.   Restoration of the black child identity.

3.   Celebration of Africa'suniqueness

4.   Empowerment of the African people.

1.                 Reformation of our value system:

Value is what gives any race or nation an identity. Our values as enshrined in our customs, traditions, and cultures exert great influences on our social life, and these shape our perceptions as Africans. When we continue to look into what we represent to upgrade and advance our art, culture by learning from our past mistakes and striving for better ideals, we will witness peace, stability, and progress in our nations.

In Africa, we often see some of our cultural values as anti-progressive to certain groups.

We should give attention to reforming anti-progressive values for better coexistence.

Restoration of our national identity:

History reminds us of our heritage, the common traits we share as the black race, the traits intrinsically in our nature, the restoration of these interrelated values embedded in African heritage such as our history, tradition ethnicity, language, culture, religion arts, landscape, and natural resources. The returning to our roots to preserve our identity bequeathed to us by history. The harnessing of the resources found in African heritage for progress and collective productivity.

In summary, the restoration of our national identity is the preservation and harnessing of our heritage for common good.

2.    Celebrating our uniqueness:

As we traveled mentally and physically around the world, we see children whose faces are different, with different social statuses, languages, cultures, religions, colors, and ethnicity. However, in these disparities, I see a common denominator which is the quest for co-existence. In as much as their status is different, we have a common goal that unites us as one natural brotherhood. In these disparities is beauty in which our uniqueness lies. This common quest of our children to co-exist has taught me a great lesson, to always behold beauty in all we see, for the ugliness we see is the beauty we don’t understand. In our uniqueness lies our beauty and in this beauty is co-existence, just as a painter combines different colors to bring about a masterpiece, we need our diversities to bring about a beautiful world. Africa is made up of various diversities in arts, culture, tradition, etc., which make up our unique history. In the celebration of our history will the world see greatness in the black race, which is the pride of our Africa.  In celebration of our uniqueness, we also see ourselves with the combination of our diversities bridging generational differences, this is marrying the wisdom of the past (the preservation of our history) with the resources of the present (value and wealth of the present) and the zeal of the future which is the inherent un-tape talent of the African child. With the combination of these three generational virtues, we can make great changes and transformations in present and future art. In celebrating our uniqueness, we also celebrate our arts and culture.

Arts:  is everyday life, it connotes words and expressions. African life is rich with cultural arts, our arts as African depicts everyday ideas example fashion social life, these are expressions of the rich arts heritage which single us out as Africans. Our everyday lifestyle is a reflection of the ideas of our past, present, and the pointer of where we are headed. Celebration of colors sculptural works, painting, exhibition of our traditional skills is the dream of the people collectively as a nation.

Intervene in Africa encourages and celebrates our dreams in entertainment, arts, fashion, modeling events, reflecting our dreams in arts and aligning our ideas with a divine concept; this will position us in a place of reforming and unifying our race in one with God (Divinity) with his beauty and all its attributes: peace and harmony. This is manifested in the salvation of the African arts.

Culture: This the emergence of divine culture in Africa, our everyday ideas believes and customs constitute our norms and shaped our existence as Africans. The expression of divine ideas and beliefs expresses its values on our behavioral norms. For example, the culture of respect for elders, respect for life will reflect in our communal life the respect for rule of law which is one of the leading laws of a great nation.  In obedience to the divine mandate to bring salvation to all, we align our ideas and beliefs in divine laws that chart liberation course for us humans and nations. The revolution of African culture from perverted traditional practices of prejudice, injustice, hates and corruption to redefine cultural values predicated on divine love transcending ethnicity, religious and political sentiments, to unity, progress, peace, and co-existence. On this platform, we as humans will see beauty amid diversity in what we called culture and tradition.

Intervene in Africa is a movement of peace; we crusade against anti-human cultural practices that violate the rights of humans. In our peace campaign, we foster Intercultural understanding, educate and reform on these practices through the light of God’s word as it is spelled out in our national constitution and human rights laws. This is demonstrated in displaying good cultural virtues example; charity and social work.

3.                 Empowering minds for productivity:

The poverty that prevails in Africa stems from the poverty of the mind. When the mind is empowered, we give it the right tool of expression, as the putting in place of informative tools to educate the African child in whatever areas his passion lays, encouraging skills and celebrating talents in providing scholarship schemes and making learning and information in relevant areas accessible to all.

As we put into place these basic empowerment objectives, Africans will actualize their dreams, for the greatest the desire of all humans is the manifestation of their dream. This is the realization of leadership, the emergence of true leaders in Africa, leaders in different fields of endeavors who wield positive change and transformation in all sectors.

IIA CORES VALUES

       Productivity

       Character

       Purpose

       Service

OUR CORE VALUES

To build leaders for governance, we achieve our objectives through these values:

     Productivity

     Character

     Purpose

     Service

 Realizing value:

Everyone is identified and known by his value. Value is what classifies a man or thing, without which our identity, what we represent is lost.

Realization of our value places great significance on our being since our whole existence individuals and collectively as a nation is centered on our value system. The awakening of our right sense of value is the onset of significance and fulfillment of purpose.

This divine movement is set to awaken our true sense of value as the black race, apart from the realization of our true worth, also the celebration and harnessing of our values as inherent in our cultural strains, in directing these virtues towards productive achievement, so that we as Africans can take our significant stand in global governance.

 Building Integrity:

Today our world is bankrupt of men of integrity, the virtue of trust is the social capital, the building of men of trust is the building of a great nation, as righteousness exalts a nation. Our nations are in decadence because the vital virtue on which business strives is missing in our conducts. Our mandate is to bring about moral teachings and programs packed in CDs and books to our young generation, which will sanitize our environment for tomorrow’s governance.

Forming Character:

The character remains the pillar on which leadership is sustained.

The formation of good character sets precedence for true governance. When the African character is reformed in the place of study, meditation and service, we will manifest right virtues and see ourselves transcend above the inclination of the leaser self of materialism, selfishness, and pride, and ascend to a place of divine awakening where our earnest longing is service to our race, to see the unity and progress of all human above our personal interest.

Manifesting purpose:

The essence of every living being is the manifestation of his dreams The first command God gave to man was to go and be fruitful in all his endeavors. We see mankind endowed with inherent abilities, and various possibilities, but most often the common problem we are confronted with as individuals is the inability to harness these inherent potentials to successful endeavors. Some of these inabilities are due to the limitations of our background.

Our objective regarding purpose is not to curb these limitations but to instill in the African child the consciousness of possibilities that will awaken the tenacity, the hero in the black race which enables her to soar above the prevailing limitations, such as fear, doubt, superstitions, and inferiority complex to manifest her dream.

       Economic Empowerment:

The whole essence of man is to learn and educate others. Education is the vital influence of man. We acquire education by what we see around us, the things we see, touch, sense, our past and present inform us and shape our events and destinies as individuals and as a nation.

Education as I may define it: Is a systematic acquisition of information, or acquisition of the habit of thinking for creativity. The information we are exposed to influences us either negatively or positively. The education of our citizens by acquainting them with resourceful information that triggers creativity and progress in all stations of social being not just in words but both in practical deeds done in humility as exemplified by our world great leaders: Mahatma Gandhi, Martin Luther, Nelson Mandela, who in the midst of injustice and great opposition left an imprint of hope for their presents and future generation to draw inspiration, so that they too can inform their succeeding generation of what leadership represents.

Leadership education, as taught by our past leaders, should be incorporated into our educational structure.

The lesson of leadership is in words and practice as depicted in the reformation of character through moral cultural virtues of service: hard work, discipline, integrity, love. When we are enmeshed with these virtues, it will leave an indelible imprint in time of the work of our hands and deeds, for there cannot be true education without the forming of character.

In this light, we organize periodic reformative lectures with free reformative tutorials on various topics of leadership in strategic places, schools, and campuses across African regions.

     Charity:

Charity is the expression of God in practice; this is the divine heartbeat. The good news of salvation is incomplete without ministering to the needy in service and substance.

Every divine movement is anchored on giving, we must minister back to humanity that which we have received. The whole world should draw attention to give, for the salvation of our world is highly dependent on humanitarian service. Great souls like late mother Theresa, Princess Diana gave their lives to charity, and through this medium, they found the true essence of living, because there can be no living, no fulfillment than living for humanity.

The primary motive of Intervene in Africa is given to the passion of meeting the needs of the people, in helping the African people. In passing our message of hope and reconciliation through charity, in different units which are:

A.     Sickle Cell Foundation Department:

Sickle cell anemic disease is an African ailment that plagues the African child in the tropical rainforest region caused by malaria in the genetic traits.

It is usually manifested in the parent that carries this trait in their blood hormones, as the combination of two blood genotypes (AS) gives rise to the anemic child (SS). As a result of this malaria scourge in the rainforest the region, many African children suffer from this disorder; many die young due to poor treatment, poverty, and lack of early awareness. The sickle cell foundation spare headed by Intervene in Africa is set to create awareness of the dangers, early detection, and management of sickle cell disease through various methods:

1.      Provide free counseling programs to sickle cell patients and parents in order to adequately manage the condition.

2.      Provide free medical treatment to sickle cell patients in Africa whenever they need medical attention. Free treatment for registered members of the foundation with yearly registration.

  1. Skills and Acquisition Unit
  2. Our skill and Acquisition: Units centered on the disadvantaged children of Africa who cannot afford the fee to further their career? We do this by acquainting them with the necessary skills and training in their areas of interest or passion through basic skill training programs, workshops and seminars in various fields of study. Creating a conducive learning environment with modern learning facilities in related fields e.g. shoemaking, hairdressing, hat making, fashion, bakery, branding engineering, software, photography, fish farming, agriculture, furniture making, soap making, drink making, juice, graphic printing, multimedia, horticulture, art designing, decorating, modeling.
  3. Skills and Aid for the handicap: this is a sub-unit under skill acquisition, a center exclusively for the physically challenged Africans. Here they receive counseling, aids, and skills to better their states in order to be productive. We celebrate the talents in them, give them the courage to take the future, acquainting them with various skills as mentioned above, aids like a wheelchair, money for special treatment in the cases of those who can be treated/ corrected but lack the financial means.

We network with other women organizations to speak up against women-right violations. Women who need empowerment, we empower them for productivity.

     Leadership School:

Leadership training courses to empower people to implement their dreams. They that do know their God shall be strong and do exploits. Our world is sick and is in dire need of men/women who will bring solutions to the various problems facing humanity. It is very important for us to understand that the government of our nations, the people we nominate as leaders over us and the institution of our nations, if they do not have a higher source of reference to their convictions, beliefs, moral values, and standards, then we will continue to grope in the darkness of our corrupt nature. The message of salvation as Christ taught and manifested is the message of hope, healing and reforms.

Our mandate is not just to bring solutions to areas of needs but to raise and tutor men who will manifest solutions, reform in diverse areas of problems confronting humanities, individuals who will pioneer social movements that will salvage the human race from her plights. The earnest expectation of the nation waited for the manifestation of the sons of God. This message of liberation transcends the walls of churches or the confines of religion or doctrines. It is a divine movement of life-changing in all sectors and fields of human operations. The birth of reformed movements is the manifestation of hope in our world.

Regardless of our social differences, our world needs men of exploits in all institutions, organizations who will spark the universal light of love to show humanity the way out of the prevailing plagues and despair, the darkness that has engulfed our world.

We are calling for men, women, youth, and children of Africa who will wake up and join this crusade against the dominance of evil in our world. We called on people who will defy creed, dogma, sect, religion, ethnicity and social strata and joint force in prayer and in great exploit to fight for the liberation of Africa to say to God “let thy kingdom prevail in Africa”.

We called on people who will defy creed, dogma, sect, religion, ethnicity, and social strata and joint force in prayer and in great exploit to fight for the liberation of Africa to say to God “let thy kingdom prevail in Africa”.
